The Academy of Religion and Psychical Research
ARPR will always hold a warm place in my heart, for having the courage to continue to try to integrate and reconcile traditional religion with psychic research, two areas that have shown extreme antagonism to each other.
The Nag Hammadi
Scriptures
Explore compelling evidence of DivisionTheory in the early Christian church. Who were the
Gnostics? We thought we knew, but after a hidden cache of their lost scriptures were unearthed in
Nag Hammadi Egypt shortly after WWII, we have had to re-evaluate all the old assumptions. The
newly-famous "Gospel of Thomas" was among those forgotten treasures, an early Christian
Gospel that many experts believe was written earlier than any of the four Biblical Gospels, and
may be closely related to the theoretical Gospel named "Q". The Nag Hammadi Gospels,
particularly the "Gospel of Thomas", the "Gospel of Philip", and the "Gospel of Truth" (all
available to read at this site), reflect unmistakable traces of a DivisionTheory-type theology
present in the early Church.

I Built the Titanic
I've met Bill Barnes, the disarmingly amiable author of this phenomenal book, and can't imagine a
more down-to-Earth guy. And yet he passionately insists he is the reincarnation of one of the
most publicly-condemned figures in modern history - Tom Andrews - the Irishman who designed,
built, and then died on the Titanic. Learn the amazing story of the humble modern-day school
teacher who has dead-on accurate past-life memories of being an honest "master shipbuilder"
whose repeated warnings about inadequate safety precautions fell on deaf ears. If you ever get a
chance to see Bill Barnes in person, or on the TV, don't miss it - you'll walk away a believer.
Second-best thing? - listen to his audiobook.
Titanic Memories
What do you get when you cross reincarnation with the Internet? A way for people who knew
each other in past lives to find one another again! This is an email discussion group of people who
believe they have incarnated again after having died together on the Titanic. The group dynamics
here can sometimes send chills up your spine. These people genuinely do seem to share common
memories; one will begin to describe a memory, and half a dozen others will chime in with
corresponding memories, each adding new details the others confirm. Groups such as this, which
are only possible due to the birth of the Internet, just may bring reincarnational studies to a whole
new level.
Walk Like An Egyptian
Did ancient Egypt believe in DivisionTheory? I certainly think so, and Ramona Louise Wheeler's
new book does betray many intriguing parallels. This modern guide to the religion and philosophy
of ancient Egypt shows many DivisionTheory-like elements of the Egyptian religion. Note the
similarity of Wheeler's description of the "ba" to modern science's description of the conscious
mind, and the dualistic quality of the speech patterns.
On the Duplicity of Language
This online book by Charles Pyle is basically the linguistic equivalent of my own work on the
division of consciousness. If man is divided, then it will surely be manifested in his language. And
according to Pyle, it is (this is also apparent in Wheeler's "Walk Like An Egyptian", above). Pyle
synthesizes linguistics and psychology, showing how the great divide is rooted and manifest in
human language. His other works at the same site, analyze Freudian and Lacanian use of language
in describing this division.
The Monroe Institute
Make the two one! Robert Monroe's "Hemi-Sync" process has helped thousands integrate the
two sides of their psyches, allowing many to experience first hand the amazing
psychological/spiritual/mystical consequences of doing so. Monroe's Institute is famous
world-wide for helping people to achieve OBEs.
Searching For Eternity
Dr. Donald Morse, Editor of the Journal of Religion and Psychical Research, has written an
important work cataloguing and exploring the full spectrum of humanity's beliefs and reports
about the afterlife, arriving at many of the same conclusions as have I. His book is a must for any
serious student of the ultimate mystery.
The Meru Foundation
Making the two one doesn't refer only to the conscious and unconscious - it also refers to all their
works and offshoots, such as science and religion. The only other researcher that I have
encountered who regularly uses the Gnostic phrase "make the inside like the outside" is Stan
Tenen of the Meru Foundation. He appears to be on to a major recognition and decoding of
sacred texts that explicates the underlying unity of the three major Western faiths. This research
seems to hold world-shaking implications for our understandings of the relationship between (and
the eventual integration of) science and religion.
The Association of Transpersonal Psychology
This group is on the cutting edge of humanity's efforts to integrate science with religion and
spirituality.
