Spirituality, Philosophy...
and Death

by Angus Wyrmwoode

You'll find at least one of the aforementioned items in the latest book by Peter Novak, The Division of Consciousness (Hampton Roads Publishing).

His theories on the afterlife are riveting. No matter what your current theological or philosophical approach is to life, this book will be of interest to you.

After the painful loss of his wife, the author began a ten-year quest to find the answers that have eluded humans for centuries. His sojourn into the realms of philosophy, theology, psychology, and anything related to the understanding of death and its effect on the human psyche, has left him with some very interesting conclusions.

Admittedly somewhat skeptical of the spiritual bandwagon that has taken over true spirituality and the understanding of one's self (Madonna's Ray of Light being a prime example), I have become wary of even touching the subject. But, after reading The Division of Consciousness, I can truly say that amidst the rubble, cheap parlour tricks, and "pop-corn" that has permeated modern culture, there are still those that have focus and keen insight as to what it's all about.

Many years of my life have been spent wondering about the very same issues discussed in this book. Rarely disclosing my own theories, I have opted to keep them to myself so as not to offend or confuse others. This book concurs with many of thses things I have felt on a personal level.

So, no matter if you hold true to a strict Christian upbringing, dance pagan tricks in the moonlight, or slovenly lump your existential, godless way down the path of life, you'll enjoy this book... For its subject holds something that we all have in common -- Death.
